PT Production Worker

Production Workers Essential Responsibilities:
Processing donated merchandise for re-sale including sorting, pricing and stocking the sales floor
You may also be asked to train and work as a back-up cashier
Unload sacks, boxes, and miscellaneous donated items from trucks into donation cards and transports them to proper processing or storage areas
Sorts goods into appropriate categories, inspects items for quality and stability
Tickets items for sale by attaching price ticket to the item
Records and keeps daily production records
Place ticketed items on or in appropriate transport container
Must have the ability to work in a face paced environment and be flexible to change priorities as business dictates
Education and/or Experience: Related production experience preferred.
Language Skills: Able to understand simple instructions and complete production documentation. The employee is required be able to communicate effectively.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Physical Demands Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally required to team lift and/or move more than 40 pounds.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to work within humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, and with fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
